Dungeons and Dragons is banned

A prisoner has been banned from playing the famous game Dungeons and Dragons. Thats right a inmate sentenced to live for a homicide is banned from playing. The inmate sued the Wisconsin prison, where his being held, for taking all his Dungeon and Dragon pieces and not allowing him to play the game. He argued that not letting him play was violating his right to free speech. A federal court later upheld the ban of the game, saying it promoted competitive hostility, violence, gambling, escaping and gang related activity.

Titanic sinks...again

Titanic has been hit again, this time by its own director. James Cameron's new movie Avatar has just made more money then his older film Titanic. Pushing Avatar into the #1 money making movie ever. One reason to the success of Avatar is the more expensive 3-D tickets. It has made over 1.843 billion dollars.

Apple

Now I'm not completely sure of this there just rumors. But Apple is supposedly leaving AT&T as the iphones only carrier by then end of the week. Theres also a rumor saying the new Apple Tablet well be with Verizon Wireless. I am really happy about both of though's because I'm with Verizon Wireless and would love to be able to get the iphone.

$45million for Conan

Conan's last night of doing the late night show well be tonight. But don't worry its not all bad for the late night hostess NBC is giving him a $45 million dollar sufferance package. But there or a few catches for 1 he can't host another show until September of 2010. And he wont be able to keep his intellectual property rights. So his masturbating bear well have to stay with NBC.

Sony's motion controller

Sony's motion controller(very similar to the wii) has been pushed back from being released in Spring to being released this Fall. It has been pushed back so there well be more games able to be played with it. The new date well mean it well come out the same time as the xbox 360's Juggernaut project is released.

Apple well finally release their long awaited apple tablet. Their holding an invitation only convention January 27 in San Francisco to reveal it. I'm really looking forward to seeing it hopefully it doesn't cost like 10grand.

The Green Lantern finally got a villain but its not Sinestro. Peter Sarsgaard is playing the new enemy. Ryan Reynolds is to star as the Green Lantern. It is going to be directed by the James Bond director ven Martin Campbell. There was a movie that almost happened a few years ago that cast Jack Black as the Green Lantern. That would of sucked.

Wii and netflix

Netflix is coming to the Wii. It will be really similar to the xbox 360 deal. If you are already a member of Netflix you well not have to pay extra. To start you have to go to Netflix.com/wii. They well send you a red disk that you have to put in every time you want to watch a movie.

Legalize it

California might legalize weed. The California Assembly committee voted 4 to 3 to legalize marijuana for non-medical use. They would put a $50 tax on every ounce of marijuana sold. It would be legal for any one 21 years of age and older. The next step is for the health care committee to look it over. Police chief thinks that that legalizing it would lead to a slowly increase in slow moving poorly executed crime.

Spiderman 4

The new Spiderman 4 has been dropped by Sony because they where unhappy about the actor chosen to play the new villain. The well hire a new director and a new cast including a new Spiderman so no more Tobey Maguire. The new one well focus more on Spiderman's childhood.
